On 11th February, a bitterly cold night, 40 people piled into the warmth of a Fersfield home to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Having battled their way through the ice and snow their reward on arrival was a glass of pink fizz, which preceded a three-course dinner charmingly served by men seductively attired in aprons.
The whole evening was love-themed and games between courses included Film and TV trivia, various quizzes and love stories compiled and related by the dinner guests. The evening was another charity event hosted by Fersfield Friends and raised over £200 for Chapel Road Special School, Attleborough. Thanks to everyone for your support. We have just performed our yearly Pantomime and as usual we were well supported by the community and beyond.  This year it was “Treasure Island” and after lots of rehearsals we put the show on at the half term holiday. This works well for the cast members especially the younger ones who won’t have school the next day.

Everyone worked very hard and had a very enjoyable time and the final net profit going to the village hall will be in the region of £1300.00. Very well done to everyone involved.

By the time you get this Cock Crow we should have performed the drama about a Bressingham ghost, this has been written and directed by Jon Young who is a club member. The proceeds from this are going to “Help for Heroes” and “Combat Stress” After all the hard work which has gone into this production we hope we shall achieve a reasonable sum for these two worthy charities.
During September we hope to perform a comedy called “Small Talk” - we will keep you posted on further details, dates etc.
